You all know the story of Christopher Columbus who tried to discover a travel route to Indies (South Asia and South East Asia of our time) but ended up in America. Columbus was so eager to come to Asia because at that time India was one of the richest places on earth. Vasco da Gama managed to do it later. In the 20th century India was famous for its poverty. However, for the last few years, things are changing very rapidly and India is no longer a poor country. Success in Information Technology and outsourcing has started the Indian economic renaissance. Continuous high economic growth for the last few years has made Indian economy as the third largest in Asia.
In this blog, I like to inform the readers about the forward march of Indian economy. I like to pin point the market opportunities in India for foreign companies while at the same time write about the opportunities for Indian companies and professionals in other countries. I also like to cover the success of people of Indian origin in countries like UK, USA and UAE as the contribution of people of Indian origin in the economies of these countries is becoming more and more significant. I also wish to actively promote blogs about India or blogs by Indians.
