Exactly 90 days ago, I started blogging for Know More Media Network and you can find about my life and career from this link. In this introduction, I like to talk about my blogging activities of the last 3 months. I have posted more than 375 entries for my blog SouthAsiaBiz in the last 3 months and about 200 of them were about Indian business. I witnessed significant improvement in my blog's Technorati ranking and Google PR. A few of my entries got linked in some of the top 100 blogs. However, the thing that I enjoyed most is that I met some great bloggers both in Know More Media Network and outside of KMM.
The most important lesson that I have learnt from my blogging experience is that I must try everyday to create content for my visitors. I want to stick to this lesson for this new blog too.
I have remained a keen observer on India since 1985 and over the years my interest about India and South Asia as a whole has only increased continuously. 20 years ago, what India did not have was a sense of optimism and now many people in India (specially the middle class people) are optimistic about their present and future. India is gradually emerging as an economic giant in Asia. I feel very lucky to be one of the bloggers who are observing and writing about Indian economy at this time.
Blogs have become so popular in such a short time simply because it is an interactive medium and that is why I always welcome all my visitors to participate in the discussion. So, always feel free to share your ideas about this blog.
Razib, I look forward to reading your posts here at IndianRaj. You've already made SouthAsiaBiz a very successful blog and I know it is because you try to provide your readers with smart insights on the events that are shaping that region of the world. Keep the great work!
