IndianRaj is just 5 days old today. I am a new blogger and for the last 3 months I realized the difficulty of making a blog visible and stable as I tried for my other blog SouthAsiaBiz. There are so many things to do- get linked from other blogs (for Technorati), get a lot of links in Internet (for good rankings in Google and other search engines), write everyday and finally pray that you become lucky. I worked very hard for SouthAsiaBiz and tried everyway for it. Most of the time, I started working after getting up from sleep and worked until going to bed for sleep after midnight.
Now, I am trying to do the same thing for IndianRaj. I must admit that I am too lucky that yesterday one of my entries got mentioned in Boing Boing (one of the top 5 blogs according to Technorati). Darren Rowse of ProBlogger also generously gave a link to IndianRaj as he got few hits from my blog (I know very well that the number of hits that Darren got from IndianRaj was too insignificant). As a result, IndianRaj had more than 400 hits yesterday. More than that Boing Boing has a PR-9 while ProBlogger has PR-7. So, it will help IndianRaj a lot to get good ranking in Google within a short time.
So, in the end, I like to thank Darren and Boing Boing. More than any else, I feel encouraged to work hard for IndianRaj as I have some decent visitors even in the first week of this blog.
