Wanna be a millionaire? Come to India and Korea
Do you want to be a millionaire in the fastest time?
Then look no more and just come either to India or Korea. Why- because these two countries seem to have the Midas touch now as they have the fastest increase in the rate of millionaire population. This information has come in The World Wealth Report published by Merrill Lynch and Capgemini. Compared to 2004, Korea had 21.3% more millionaire people in 2005 while the rate of increase for Indian was 19.3%. You can download the report free of charge by simply clicking in this link. According to this report, now 8.7 million people in the world ' hold more than US$1million in financial assets'.

If I could understand the report correctly then India has by the end of 2005 83,000 millionaires and in 2004 the figure was 70,000. UK, China, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Russia have more than 100,000 millionaires while USA has 2.67 million of them. With the high economic growth and growing success in outsourcing, the number of millionaires in India will surely increase significantly in the next few years. The same goes for China too. However, I feel that Korea and Russia will see a healthy growth in the number of millionaires. So, if you want to be a millionaire then come to one of these countries.
