![]() Fiat is one of the major car producers in the world and in European market it is a very strong player. However, in the developed world, almost every family has a car and the market is not growing so much- especially in Europe, it is the case. So, European automakers like Fiat are looking at the third world markets and India is now a very attractive market in this regard. Now, Fiat is going to join hands with Tata Motors and this is going to benefit both the companies.
Fiat wants more space to drive in the Indian market and being in partnership with Tata Motors is surely going to give Fiat an edge. On the other hand, Tata Motors wants to expand its business in Europe and who can be a better partner than Fiat in this regard! Thus, it is a win-win situation for both the companies. Indian auto market is growing very fast and that is why we can expect to see more such deals in the coming days between western and Indian automakers.
