![]() Fiat is now taking the Indian market seriously and now FIAT India Pvt. Ltd. has opened 7 service stations in different pasts of India. The 7 service stations are located in the Indian cities of Calicut, Madurai, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram, Jamshedpur, Indore and Anand. This is a great move by Fiat. Fiat is also trying to have a strategic partnership with TATA. I am quoting from a report of moneycontrol.com:
"FIAT India Pvt. Ltd. announces the commencement of 7 new Tata-Fiat service stations across various locations in the country. Fiat is streamlining operations in sync with changes in the Indian economy where customers have high-purchasing power and aspire to be different. With an aim to improve customer confidence Fiat India will primarily focus on bettering the after sales service and dealer network as per FIAT’s international standards."
This move by Fiat will surely attract a lot of customers. Getting good service is a major problem for car owners in India. I am sure this will contribute in increasing sales for Fiat in India.
