This is very good news for India. These days, outsourcing success is catching all the media headlines for Indian economy. I am quoting from a report published in Business Week:
" India's outsourcing revenue rose 32 percent to US$6.6 billion (euro5.2 billion) in the April-June quarter, a trade body said Saturday, suggesting the South Asian country remains a preferred destination for Western companies to shift back-office work.
Exports of software and information technology-related services totaled 295 billion rupees (US$6.57 billion, euro5.14 billion) in the fiscal's first quarter, up 32. 3 percent from a year ago, said the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council."
There is everything to celebrate. Well, I wish that India could follow the same success in manufacturing. However, Indian economy needs continual success in outsourcing too. So, hopefully, India will have better success in the next few months.
