It is always nice to find that more and more countries are now relaxing visa regime. Of course, for business people, getting visa quickly is always a top priority. I am happy that Japan and India have learnt their lessons and going to make it easier for the business people of the two countries to visit each other’s country. According a report of Forbes.com:
“Japan and India will extend the period of validity of business visas issued to individuals working in each other's countries to five years, while easing regulations on tourist visas, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported.
The moves, aimed at promoting a greater flow of people between the nations, are expected to be agreed upon at a Japan-India summit slated to be held in December and implemented in 2007, the paper said.”
From the same report, I came to know that the two countries are going to relax the regulations for tourist visa too. Last year, 102,000 Japanese tourists came to India while 58,572 Indian tourists came to Japan. Hopefully, after the visa regime is relaxed, more people will visit the two countries.
