Bloomberg has reported:
“Australia's unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in August, near a 30-year low, creating a shortage of skilled workers in many industries.”
I think that this is a great opportunity for Indian workers. Indian government should take this matter seriously and try to persuade Australian government to take more skilled workers from India. Indian workers have already contributed in the Middle East significantly. So, Australia can be benefited from them too. Already many Indians work in Australia.
So, what India should do are as follows:
- Indian government should send a high level delegation to contact with Australia and try to convince Australian government and companies to take more Indian workers.
- Indian government should arrange some kind of training program about Australia.
- Indian media should highlight the opportunities in Australia.
