Boston Herald has published an article titled Fast-growing community of immigrants from India become more visible about the rise of Indian community in US. According to the report, there are now nearly 2.3 million people of Indian origin. Well, that my not be even 1% of US population (300 million) but people of Indian origin are becoming more and more influential in US. Many of them are highly educated and they have a decent income. You can find many of them in New Jersey, New York, California and Texas.
Because of the increasing number of Indians, you can find a lot of Indian products in US markets these days. On the other hand, Indians send a handsome amount of money to their families and relatives back in India.
Of course, not all Indians are doing well in US. Many of them are not highly educated and good at English language. They also do not earn enough money and suffer a lot. Thousands of Indians even do not have proper documents.
