The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Mother Nature has a good way for everything. It produces almost equal number of females and males. However, human beings are too much greedy and try to change everything according to their benefit. Indian parents are perhaps the best example in this regard. Indian parents produce 7,000 girls fewer than they should everyday.

Since, girls do not have honor in Indian society, many parents first carry out a test with the help of ultrasound technology and if they find that the baby in the womb is a female then they just abort it.

This is old news and I have covered about it several times in my blogs. However, there is every reason to get worried. In the past 2 decades, India has 10 million less women than it should have. This is a recipe for social disaster. Soon, thousands of Indian men will find it impossible to get a bride for themselves. This will cause all sorts of social problems. It will have a negative impact on the economy too. The worst part of the problem is that no one is trying to stop it.
