The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Doing business is not just making profit but also giving back something to the society and contributing to the development of the society. I am happy that some of the leading Indian companies have started to realize this matter. They have come forward to feed school children in the state of Rajasthan and 3.5 lakh school children now get a decent meal from them.

School children are literally the future of India. India is on the verge of a skill shortage and it is important for both the government and private sector to help the school children to receive quality education. Having a decent meal is of course as much important as being taught by a good teacher. So, I am happy that Indian companies are getting engaged with social development.

This initiative is helping some rural women to get employed as cooks. Thus it is benefiting many people.
