India has already become one of top Internet bases in the world. Within just 5 years, India will have one of the top 3 largest Internet users. One company planning and investing big on India is Yahoo!. Yahoo! India is in media headlines for the last few months for introducing new offers to their Indian users. And now it has introduced "Ask the Planet" forum for the Indian users. Techtree reported: The launch of "Ask the Planet" was kicked off with the first question posted by none other than the Hon'ble President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Kalam's question is "What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?" Several leading personalities, including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Dr Kiran Bedi, Leander Paes, and Akum Longchari have given answers to the President's question. The best answer will be picked up by the President himself in the month of February. The "Ask the Planet" series will continue for around 6 weeks, allowing users to answer a string of questions posed by other Indian luminaries and achievers in various fields. The questions will cover subjects such as Education, Health, Law and Enforcement, Games and Recreation, Society and Culture, and so on.
In its own website Yahoo! India has written: Answer the question asked by the President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and if your answer is chosen as the best answer, you could win the latest, fully loaded Tablet PC with a high end webcam! Some Yahoo goody bags are also up for grabs! Keep watching the Prizes for the latest updates.
So, what are you waiting for? Go and visit Yahoo! India and win some cool prizes. I wish that Yahoo! India could give more prizes for more users.
