Bill Thomas, head of EDS's European, African and Middle East units, told The Daily Telegraph newspaper that he expected a dramatic change in the public sector IT personnel as former civil servants employed by private sector groups faced the prospect of losing their jobs to so-called off-shoring. The Texas-based EDS is the biggest supplier of IT to the Government.

EDA is not popular in
I have been covering outsourcing in this blog for quite some time now. I feel that outsourcing is an inevitable reality. So, although I am shocked from the prediction of Bill Thomas, I understand that it may happen within a few years.
