Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the best wicket keepers of our time. He is a good wicket keeper and he is even a better batsman. He can bat extremely well and score quickly. When he is in form, he is simply marvelous and can destroy any bowling attack. Unfortunately, he did not perform in the 3 matches of World Cup Cricket 2007 and now everyone is very unhappy with him in India.

Fans are unhappy because Dhoni was busy for shooting commercials before World Cup. Many fans feel that Dhoni cared for money more than cricket. Dhoni is so popular that many Indian young men started to keep their hair according to Dhoni’s hair style.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's fans are expressing their disappointment with his dismal performance at the World Cup by cutting off their hair, which they had kept long like the stylish wicketkeeper.

"I opted to cut my hair after Dhoni failed to perform in the World Cup. It is now disgraceful to sport his style. I grew my hair after (Pakistan President) Pervez Musaraff had praised Dhoni's hair and advised him not to cut his hair," cricket lover Chandan Kumar told.

Mahesh Mishra, a student, said: "After the shameful defeat of India in the World Cup, the first thing I did was to go for a haircut. I had grown my hair like Dhoni because he ruled the hearts of everyone with his good performance. I never felt bad when people commented about my long hair. Now I feel humiliated."

I wish that people became less passionate about cricket. This way, they would not suffer and Indian players would not suffer either. India is not doing so well in World cricket for many months. So, it is better Indian fans do some reality check and get less emotional.
