
These days, Indian entertainment industry is getting interesting thanks to a rivalry between Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan. They are fighting over the top spot of Bollywood. Amitabh Bachchan is old and the living legend. On the other hand, Shahrukh Khan is the most popular hero now and he wants to take the place of Amitabh Bachchan as the top Bollywood legend.
Well, the rivalry is mostly about who can be in the screen more and who can earn more money. It seems that at least in the TV advertising, Amitabh Bachchan is ahead.

Celebrity endorsements are on the rise but clearly advertisers seem to be investing in film stars for more secure returns. Amitabh Bachchan emerged as the biggest investment for advertisers in 2006, gathering a humungous 708 hours of advertising and endorsing 41 brands, followed by Shahrukh Khan, who endorsed 35 brands and rode 650 hours of television airtime last year.
I wonder whether Indian viewers are seeing too much of Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan these days. Of course, they are very popular and they have millions of fans in
