The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Bangladeshi batsmen have played very well in the first ODI between Bangladesh and India. The match is now taking place in Mirpur Stadium, Dhaka. Indian bowling attack looked inexperienced and ordinary. The Indian bowlers could never put any pressure on the Bangladesh batsmen. Bangladeshi batsmen scored an imposing total of 250 runs losing 7 wickets from 47 overs. The match was reduced to 47 overs because of late start.

Poor fielding did not help India at all. I really wish that Indian players give more time and effort for improving their fielding.

Did India miss anyone? Yes, Indian team missed the experience of Tendulkar and Ganguly. India also missed Harbhajan Singh. The pitch helped spin bowlers and Harbhajan Singh could do much better than the current spinners that India have in this tour.
