Sourav Ganguly was not out at 82 at the end of the opening day. It was the highest score of the day and he scored 10 boundaries and 2 sixes. He played carefully and he did not take any risk. Bangladeshi bowlers could never put him under any pressure. He faced only 132 balls. The best thing is that he could support Tendulkar in the best way and they put up a great partnership.
Hopefully, Ganguly will be able to play well tomorrow and score a century. It will help him so much to silence his critics.
