The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Just a few hours ago, Indian cricket team members have arrived Bangladeshi capital Dhaka. Indian cricket team is going to stay for nearly 23 days in Bangladesh and during this time they will play 3 ODIs and 2 test matches against Bangladesh.

It will be an exciting series for the fans. Bangladesh is not the underdog anymore. Bangladeshi players have shown remarkable performance in World Cup Cricket 2007. So, Bangladeshi fans are expecting an upset or two in the upcoming series against India.

On the other hand, Indian fans have just thing one thing in mind- revenge. Indian fans want their team to totally demolish Bangladesh in both ODI and Test series.

After coming to Bangladesh, Ravi Shastri said, “We know how well Bangladesh played in the World Cup and there is a very clear message for Bangladesh. We came here to play hard cricket”.

On the other hand, Indian captain Rahul Dravid said, “I don't really believe in revenge and there is no place for it in our book. What has a place is for us to show potential and play really very good cricket. And I think that's what we are looking to do here.”

So, let us see what Shastri and Dravid can do in Bangladesh.
