The first week of Indian Idol 3 is over. So, it is the time to relax and look back at the first week of Indian Idol 2007. I was not impressed with the first week of Indian Idol. I am watching American Idol in Star World TV channel. So, I am not exactly amazed by the performance of everyone in Indian Idol.
Meri News has done a review of the week one of Indian Idol 3. It wrote:
Coming down to the contestants, the one who stood out prominently was, Richa Aneja. A cute little girl, who may remind every follower of Indian Idol of Prajakta Shukre, sang ‘Beedi Jalaile’ and got the yellow ticket for Mumbai. If everything goes fine, then Richa is surely going into the finals.
The two twin brothers Ram and Shyam Rastogi are also worth mentioning. Ram was rejected after his performance. But the verdict for Shyam was ‘sur mein
’. Even then Shyam was not selected. Is this also a ‘reality’ effect? gaya
