The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Mango is a juicy fruit and is the king of all fruits. Though it is typically a South Asian fruit, many people around the world are fans of Mango. India, the top exporter of Mango in the world, is going to organize an Indian mango festival on the occasion of Indian-Japan friendship year celebration. The fair will be held in Tokyo, Japan from 23 to 28 May. As Indian mangoes have a world wide reputation, Indian government is trying to increase its popularity in the world.

Kamal Nath, the minister of Commerce and Industry ministry, will open the fair officially and members of Japan-India Business Cooperation Committee as well as Japan and Tokyo Chambers of Commerce and Industry will be present in the fair.

Daily India reported:

Ministers of the concerned Ministries of the Government of Japan, members of the JIBCC, prominent members of the Indian community, media persons, importers and exporters, members of the Japan and Tokyo Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and senior Indian officials are expected to attend the festival from May 23 to 28.

A short film on Indian mangoes will be screened at the launch party and there would be a display of the various varieties of Indian mangoes at Hotel Tokyo.

The launch of the festival will be followed by in-store promotions from May 24-28 at 15-20 selected departmental stores and super markets, and promotion of mango cuisines at 30 selected Indian restaurants.

 

This is, for sure, a good opportunity for Indian mango exporters to increase the popularity of mango in abroad presenting some of its special kinds to the Japanese officials.
