Indian fans still do not know who their next cricket coach will be. BCCI bosses came to

The Statesman reported:
BCCI secretary Mr Niranjan Shah, who arrived here as part of a four-member Board delegation headed by president Mr Sharad Pawar, said: “The final decision will be known by the first or second week of June. The coach selection committee will meet in
on 4 June and within the next four-five days, things will be finalised.” Bangalore Mr Shah denied that the Board’s top brass had come here to talk to outgoing Bangladesh coach Mr Dav Whatmore, but said he was open for a discussion if the Aussie so desired. “If he wants to meet me, I am open to it. There is no problem.”
Mr Shah, who is slated to return to
tomorrow, said the BCCI officials were here on an invitation from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and not to negotiate with Mr Whatmore. India
It seems that BCCI officials are in a relaxed mood about selecting the next Indian coach. Of course, they are very busy with their main job- trying to find more ways of earning money from cricket. BCCI is already the richest cricket board.
Sachin Tendulkar feels that BCCI should talk to the players before making a final decision about the next coach.
