The drama continues in Indian cricket. BCCI is desperate to keep its tight grip on Indian cricket. On the other hand, in the recent days, we have been hearing a lot about Indian Cricket League (ICL). You already know that ICL has no relationship with BCCI and BCCI bosses are not happy with ICL. They are not even ready to recognize ICL.
India Times reported:
BCCI Treasurer N Srinivasan initially refused to entertain queries on whether the Committee had approved ICL.
"What is there to say about ICL?" he shot back.
Asked whether the Committee had recognised the event, Srinivasan's curt response was "No."
Later, a top BCCI source revealed that the Committee shot down the ambitious event and criticised both Kapil, the National Cricket Academy Chairman, and former chief selector More, for joining ICL's Executive Board.
BCCI bosses are unhappy with Kapil Dev and Kiran More for joining ICL. Kapil Dev is also engaged with BCCI. We will see some fighting in the coming days between ICL and BCCI. Who will win?
