The ascendency of India as an economic world power

In the earlier entry, I have already informed you that India has now 100,000 millionaires. 1 million US dollar is a lot of money in any country. So, naturally, the media covered the news with importance. However, there is hardly any room for celebration as most people in India are poor. India has now more than 1 billion people and there are millions of people who are very poor.

The funny thing is that the poor people never come to the news. India has undoubtedly the largest number of poor people in the world. India also has the largest number of malnourished children in the world. India also has the largest number of illiterate and unemployed people in the world.

Millions of people living in rural parts of India do not have access to any facility and there is hardly any change for them. The media should focus on these people.
