
Indian car market is now becoming the battle ground for the car makers. Tata shocked everyone last year by announcing its plan for a $2,000. Now, Nissan Renault has shocked many people by announcing its plan of bringing out a $3,000 in Indian market. This is surely good news for the middle class consumers in
Techwhack.com reported:
Nissan Renault Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn said in a statement: “We will be part of this competition. We are investigating, at the level of the alliance, how we can make a $3,000 car.”
He added that they are working on gathering information to see how and whether it could be done. They could even work with an Indian automaker to develop this car to sell it in
. India It is unlikely however that the company would sell the same product in their other markets.
Indian market is really ideal for cheap cars. Other big car makers should keep this fact in mind and try to introduce cheap cars here.







sure good news but energy market will have huge issues.. because i don't think this cheap/small cars with be fuel efficient. and rapid growth in car market will put pressure on energy and on climate(global warming)..
hope someone is thinking hard and loud to solve this too...
