Now, it is known to all that Essel group (the owner of ZEE TV) is going to organize a new cricket league in

India Times reported:
"An individual holds the copyright of the three words Indian Cricket League." Lalit Modi, vice-president, BCCI, said. Mr Modi, however, declined to name the individual. "I cannot reveal who holds the copyright," he said.
Sources indicate that the individual in question, along with the Essel group and other concerned legal and regulating authorities, are trying to sort out the matter. "Otherwise, it could lead to a case of copyright violation by the broadcaster, because technically and legally, the league cannot be called Indian Cricket League," the sources said.
The Essel group official has rejected any such thing. Himanshu Mody, business head of Zee Sports, has said that they did not know anything like that and they are now in the way of registering the name.
It seems that the competition is going to face some problems with this copyright issue. However, here the question is that if there is anybody who has already bought the copyright of the Indian Cricket League, then why the person has not come into the scene until now. Really, it is fishy and suspicious and I can assure you that you will see more drama in future about ICL.

i don't know it is true or not. If it is true then it should be a bad and illegal work by ICL members.
