The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Kavita Krishnamurthi was a very famous singer and just a few years ago she was one of the leading female singers in India. Many hit Bollywood songs were sung by Kavita. She has a sweet voice and many people admire her for that. These days, Kavita is missing from Bollywood movies. It seems that she is not happy with the current trend in Bollywood songs.

"The kind of music being composed these days and the kind of meaningless lyrics don't encourage me to accept many assignments. In other words, I am out of the Bollywood rat race,"- Kavita said to a news agency.

I agree with her. Bollywood songs have lost their melody mostly. These days, the directors want their songs to attract the eyes of the viewers instead of the ears. Kavita Krishnamurthi is now working with her husband and she is working on some quality projects. I admire her for that. She was a top celebrity in Bollywood music just a few years ago. So, it is not easy to forget the temptation. She has done and I really wish that she and her husband can produce some quality albums.
