The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Bollywood movies are getting popularity day by day in European market. You must know that Bollywood movies are being shot in different European countries now a days. The recent news is that famous actor Dev Anand is going to start shooting for his new English movie "When Heart Beats Are The Same”in Croatia, a country with just 4.6 million  population. The small European country has attractive some tourist sites and about 1 million tourists visit the country every year. Tourism contributes significantly to their Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Boris Suran the first secretary of Croatian Embassy in India, has recently said that Croatia welcomed Bollywood and their government would give some special facilities to the tourists and industrialists from India.

Addressing mediapersons today, Boris Suran said Croatia has the potential of becoming the new destination for Bollywood shoots due to its picturesque mountains, exotic lakes and historic monuments. He said noted film actor Dev Anand is ready to start the shooting of his new English film in Croatia.

The mediterranean delights offered by the country is a dream come true for travellers, he said

With a population of 46 lakh, Croatia is visited by more than a million tourists each year and now filmmakers from Bollywood are showing interest in shooting movies in its picturesque locations. He said tourism forms 23 per cent of Croatia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

It seems a win-win situation for both Bollywood and Croatia. Bollywood directors and producers are now planning to take the appeal of Bollywood movies in every corner of the world and Croatian government is now trying to get from its tourism sector. Indian tourists can give a huge boost to the tourism sector of Croatia.
