India has defeated South Africa in the third and final ODI match in Ireland and it is one of the sweetest moments for Indian cricket in a long time. Because of rain, there was some delay in the match and the match was curtailed to 31 overs each side. South Africa batted first and scored 148 runs. Herschelle Gibbs (56) and Justin Kemp (61) were the leading run scorers for South Africa.

Yuvraj Singh's unbeaten 61 saw India to a six-wicket win against South Africa in the third One-Day International at Stormont here on Sunday, a victory that secured the series 2-1.
India, chasing 149 to win, finished on 152 for four with four balls to spare in a match reduced by rain to 31 overs per side.
They slumped to 38 for three before a stand of 70 between captain Rahul Dravid (36) and Yuvraj Singh brought them back into the match.

I am sure that Yuvraj Sing is a very happy man. This is a historical win for Indian team in the sense that India has a very dismal record outside of India. Now, Indian players will have no time to celebrate or relax. On 3 July 2007, India is going to play against Pakistan. All eyes of the Indian fans are now on this match.
