In Bollywood, sometimes the music a movie does more business than the movie itself. I mean, if a movie has nice songs then it can have better possibility of shining in the box office. Chak De India is going to be released on this Friday. The music of the film is already out and I liked it. Well, I am not an expert and my opinion does not count. However, Sumit Bhattacharya feels that music of Chak De India is young and peppy.
He wrote:

should be. India The album starts with Chak De!
, sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Salim Merchant and Marianne D'Cruz. And it sets the tone for the soundtrack, with programmed grooves laced with some nice sarangi and shehnai. It's the kind of electronic bhangra we are now used to, having heard soundtracks like Dus and Dhoom. India
I feel that this kind of positive review would help Chak De India to do well in the box office. The best part of Chak De India is that the title track is being broadcast almost in every sports channel now. Thus, the viewers are already getting an idea about the music.
