The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Recently retired New Zealand batsmen Craig McMillan is considering to join ICL Twenty20 competition. Some of his former teammates like Nathan Astle, Chris Cairns, Hamish Marshall and Chris Harris have already made their contract with ICL. Craig McMillan is still in his good form as he has spent an excellent year for New Zealand. He was the highest run scorer for New Zealand in Twenty20 world cup. Even after the retirement, he has just won the player of the tournament trophy in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes.

Cricket 365 reported:

"I haven't signed up yet - I am considering an offer at the moment," McMillan told PA Sport.

"There are a few options after retiring a few weeks ago and the ICL is one of them, I just need a bit more time to go through and make sure things are done right. There are a few things on the table.

"Retirement hasn't settled in yet, but I am sure it will when I have some time at home with the family and when I watch the guys on TV in South Africa.

"I am definitely retired: there will be no comeback. It is the start of a new part of my life.

No doubt, Craig McMillan is still capable to serve the Black Caps for few more seasons to come. However, reports have it that it has become very hard for Craig McMillan to cope up with the busy international cricket schedule as he is suffering from Diabetes. Now, let us see if Indian fans can get to see this hard hitter playing in ICL.
