There are six city based teams including Chandigarh Lions, Mumbai Champs, Kolkata Tigers, Delhi Jets, Chennai Superstars and Hyderabad Heroes. Here, I am going to write on Mumbai Champs. No doubt, Mumbai Champs will be under focus mainly because of Brian Lara who is likely to captain the side. Mumbai Champs squad includes 19 players in which five are from abroad. Foreign players are considered to be the main strength of Mumbai Champs. The foreign cricketers are former West Indies captain Brian Lara, England opener England, New Zealand’s former batting star Nathan Astle, South African all rounder J Van der Wath and South African fast bowler Nantie Hayward.
Among the local players there are some important players like Robin Morris, Kiran Powar, Dheeraj Jadhav, Ranjeet Kirid, Pushkaraj Joshi etc. Wicket keeper Subhojit Paul does not have enough experience of playing in this level of cricket. Spinner Avinash Yadav and Sridher Iyer will have a big role to play for Mumbai Champs.
Batting seems to be the main strength of a Mumbai Champs. The side includes two quality openers- Vikram Solanki and Nathan Astle. I think, they will open for Mumbai Champs. Brian Lara may come in middle order and will have a big part to play for his side. All rounder Johan van der Wath from

West Indian batting great Brian Lara is the big star not only his team but also his among all foreing star players. and other four star foreign players are so experienced and in good form. no doubt, foreign players should be the main of this team. Local players are also well. i hope Mumbai champs may be the winner team in this tournament.
