Ahead of the first Twenty20 competition of Indian cricket league, ICL authority has recently made the tournament schedule public. The tournament will open with the match between Chandigarh Lions and Delhi Jets on 30 November 2007. There will be 20 matches in this tournament. All of the matches are set to take place on Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex in Panchkula,

It is really very hard to say if the competition creates positive response among the cricket loving fans. This is the first private tournament based on Twenty20 format. No doubt, the star players from abroad are the main attraction of ICL Twenty20 competition. However, much of its success depends on the performance of the participating teams in the tournament.
