The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Indian cricket league (ICL) authority has recently named the players of six participating teams of ICL inaugural competition. ICL Twenty20 championship will kick off from November 30.  Each of the teams includes at least 18 players including some foreign and local players. However, some teams have 19 or 20 players as well. The six teams are- Chandigarh Lions, Mumbai Champs, Kolkata Tigers, Delhi Jets, Chennai Superstars and Hyderabad Heroes. Now, I am writing about Kolkata Tigers here.

Kolkata Tigers includes 19 players including five star players from abroad. Among the local players, Rohan Gavaskar and wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta appeared for India’s national cricket team earlier. Foreign players included in Kolkata Tigers are- recently retired Craig McMillan from New Zealand, English youngster Darren Maddy, South African all rounder Lance Klusener, Sri Lankan all rounder Upul Chandana and Irish pacer Boyd Rankin.

I think, Kolkata Tigers looks very strong and balanced. Along with some star players the squad includes some promising youngsters like Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Mihir Diwakar, Sujay Tarafdar, Pritam Das, Md Aziz etc. Rohan Gavaskar is very experienced and can play a vital role for Kolkata Tigers. Darren Maddy has fame for big hits. For Lance Klusener, I think, you do not need any introduction. Craig McMillan is also famous for his hard hitting batting. Former South African batsman Darryl Cullinan has been appointed as the coach of Kolkata Tigers. The names of the players of Kolkata Tigers are given below:
