
Indian Cricket League (ICL) is going to kick off its first Twenty20 competition within few hours. With so much hype associated with this tournament, ICL organizers will come up with some new rules in Twenty20 format of cricket. One of the rules is that if a fielder breaks the stumps throwing the ball in an attempt to run out a batsman then the batsmen will not be allowed to take any overthrow run. However, if the ball does not hit the stumps, runs can be taken. ICL chairman Kapil Dev has said that they are going to experiment some new rules to see if the rules bring more excitement in cricket.
Anyway, you already know that Indian Cricket League is a private league that has not got the approval from BCCI. The competition includes some cricket stars from around the world. Besides the star players, local players will also be seen playing in the competition. However, the star players like Brian Lara, Chris Cairns, Inzamam-ul Haq are the main attraction of this tournament. ICL organizers have not left any stone unturned to promote the ICL Twenty20 competition to attract the cricket fans to this tournament.

The news rules that ICL organizers have made to make the tournament more excitement are really interesting. But i think it can hurm cricket any way and afftect the playrs mentality. So, i hope ICL organizers should choose others option to make the tournament more excitement.
