No one likes to pay tax and celebrities are always unhappy with paying tax as they earn a lot and they have to pay tax a lot. Indian cricketers are also not too happy about the matter of paying tax in their Australian Tour. Australia has an interesting law- foreign sports personalities would have to pay tax on the money they earn while playing in Australia.

Of course, Indian cricketers are not too happy with this. The players might have to pay $1.5 million in tax. The Indian cricketers have agreed to pay the tax.

India's cricketers will adhere to Australia's tax laws while on tour this summer, team manager Chetan Chauhan says.

Chauhan confirmed superstars Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly and their teammates would pay tax after the side was reportedly angered by a change in Australian taxation laws from the last time they toured, in 2003-04.

Under Australian Taxation Office laws changed in June 2004, all sportspeople visiting this country must pay tax on money earned or prizemoney won during their stay.  

Indian cricketers are among the richest cricketers in the world. So, they should not mind paying tax in Australian tour.
