The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is coming with his directorial debut movie Taare Zameen Par very soon. Aamir fans have some other reasons to cheer on ahead of the release of this movie. Aamir Khan has given his voice to the song Bum Bum Bole along with popular singer Shaan. Moreover, Aamir Khan will appear as a teacher of eight years old boy, Ishaan Awasthi who suffers from Dyslexia, a mental disorder associated with learning disability.

Darsheel Safary plays role of Ishaan in Taare Zameen Par. The Dyslexia boy has a fantasy world where he has colors, fish, dogs and kites. He is not attentive in his studies and eventually his performance in school is poor. Now, having got the complain from school teacher, his father, Nandkishore Awasthi sends him off to a boarding school hoping that Ishaan will learn to be disciplined. However, things remain unchanged. He is busy with his own world. Then, one day, a new teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh comes to his school. Nikumbh sir soon becomes friend to all of the students. Gradually, Nikumbh understand that Ishaan is a special child. That is why; the tagline of Taare Zameen Par is Every Child is Special.

Conceived, researched and edited by Deepa Bhatia and written by Amole Gupte who is also its creative director, the film is produced and directed by Aamir Khan with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Music by famous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, music tracks of “Taare Zameen Par” have already received positive remarks from the critics. After Rang De Basanti, Lyricist Prasoon Joshi has again worked with Asmir Khan in Taare Zameen Par. Ehsaan Nooran, one of the three composures, has said that the movie is for the people of all ages though it is said that Taare Zameen Par is a children movie.

I am happy that Aamir Khan has come forward to make this kind of movie. I feel that there is a huge potential in India for children movies but most directors and producers are not eager to try for it.
