The ascendency of India as an economic world power

It seems that the year 2007 is going to be a successful year for UTV Motion Pictures, a renowned production house. All of the movies produced this year from UTV Motion Pictures including 'Life In A Metro', 'Namesake', 'The Blue Umbrella' and the recent movie 'Dhan Dhanadhan Goal' have done well in the box office.

Moreover, UTV Motion Pictures still has some more movies in the queue to release very soon. Aamir Khan directed Taare Zameen Par will hit the screens on 21 December. UTV is going to distribute Taare Zameen Par in the whole world expect India. Another movie titled 'Welcome' is also set to be released at the same day and will be distributed by UTV.

 UTV Motion Pictures will market and distribute the film worldwide except for India. One of the most awaited films of the year, 'Taare Zameen Par' is Aamir Khan's directorial debut.

Releasing in January next year is the widely anticipated 'Jodha  Akbar'. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the writer-director of  the  Academy Award nominated 'Lagaan' and starring the reigning  superstars of the Indian film industry, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, 'Jodha Akbar' is the untold love story of the greatest Mughal emperor who ruled India, Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar, and a fiery young Rajput princess, Jodha.

So, obviously it is a cheering time for UTV Motion Pictures. Many other Bollywood movies have earlier been either produced or distributed from UTV. Now, the Bollywood fans are eagerly waiting for this Aamir Khan movie releasing on December 21.
