The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Australia vs India third test is going to start from this Wednesday (16 January 2008). So, there is just one day left before the third test. After the second test finished, we saw a lot of drama. There was ban against Harbhajan Singh and it caused a massive uproar in India. The ban has not been taken away totally but Harbhajan Singh can play in the third test.

Reuters reported:

Harbhajan has been allowed to continue playing while he awaits his appeal against a three-match ban for racially abusing Andrew Symonds.

Harbhajan has denied the claims and lodged an appeal, while Hogg's availability was assured when India withdrew a charge of abuse against him. The Indian board (BCCI) has also withdrawn its threat to abandon the rest of the tour.  

It is not sure yet if Harbhajan Singh would be selected for the third test. The third test will be played in the W.A.C.A. Ground, Perth (Western Australia). This ground supports the pace bowlers. So, let us see if Indian officials decide to include Harbhajan Singh in the third test or not.
