The ascendency of India as an economic world power

India and China are neighbors but they do not have very friendly relationship. For example, the political leaders of the two countries do not visit each other’s country on a regular basis. This time, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is in China and he is talking with Chinese leaders.

Manmohan Singh is talking about various issues with Chinese leaders but I am sure that economy is the most important thing in his mind. The Chinese leaders have the same mentality too. India and China both are trying to become rich and to sustain continuous high economic growth they need to increase bilateral trade.
