The ascendency of India as an economic world power

I think that this is the first time that a president of another country visited India and media was busier with girl friend than the official visit itself. I guess the only person who can feel satisfied is Carla Bruni. She has become a very familiar name in India thanks to extensive coverage given by the media about her absence in the Taj Mahal. Carla Bruni was a supermodel and supermodels love media attention more than anything else.

I was browsing through the news reports about Nicholas Sarkozy India visit and found hardly any coverage of trade issue or any other important issue that was discussed between the leaders of these two countries.

Nicholas Sarkozy was happy to be in India and he is planning to make a second trip as soon as possible. I am not his advisor and I am not qualified enough to give him any advice. However, I would love to see his media team ensuring that all the coverage is given about the relationship between India and France not about Carla Bruni.
