The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Just after few hours, the ODI match between India and Sri Lanka will start. It is a very important match for Indian team. India must win the match to keep its hope of reaching the final of the triangular tournament alive. If India loses then they will go at the bottom of the point table.

I feel that Indian team management has made a big blunder by keeping Sourav Ganguly out of the ODI team. Ganguly is the most successful captain in the history of Indian cricket and he has good track record in Australia.

Anyway, Indian fans are now praying for India to win. I guess that more Indian fans, the high officials of ESPN Star are praying for India to reach the final. If India cannot reach the final then they will lose a lot of viewers in the last few matches of the series.
