I could find the names of only 8 players of IPL Mumbai so far including their icon player and Captain Sachin Tendulkar. However, Mumbai officials have been able to sign some great cricketers in the squad. Besides Tendulkar, they have hard hitting batsmen like Sanath Jayasuriya, Robin Uthappa and opening batsmen Loots Bosman. I think, Jayasuria and Bosman would open for IPL Mumbai, followed by Uthappa and Tendulkar. Bowling all rounder Shaun Pollock could put on some quick fire innings in the lower order. So, there is no doubt, IPL Mumbai has a strong batting line up.
They have not included any wicket keeper yet. I think, IPL Mumbai might go for a local wicketkeeper. However, they have a balanced bowling side. Lasith Malinga and Shaun Pollock are expected to share the new ball, while Dilhara Fernando is expected to come next. The squad includes star spinner Harbhajan Singh who will lead their spin attack. Sanath Jayasuriya’s left arm spin will support Harbhajan Singh well. I think, Mumbai officials will try their best to sign some talented local players to fill up their squad up.

IPL Mumbai has many great batsmen and all rounder. So, i think opposite team always have to fear again Mumbai. Lot of star players have selected in this team and they are now in superb form. I believe this team will play well and can snatch the inagural trophy.
