The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Mobile phone market is growing in India at a very fast pace. So, I am not shocked to see that Bharti Airtel could announce today that the number of its subscribers has reached 60 million (combined total of mobile phone and land phone). This is surely an amazing achievement but there is still huge room for growth. India has over 1 billion people and most people in India yet do not own a phone. Bharti Airtel has one of the lowest call rates in the world and this surely helps the company to attract more and more customers.

I feel that Indian mobile phone companies should now focus more on creating new content for the users. Internet service through mobile phone should be cheaper and faster.
