You know that there is a global crisis about food now and the price of food commodities is increasing all the time. It is very surprising matter that all of a sudden the price of many food items have increased a lot in the world. Many of us are surprised and are wondering the main reason behind it.
One of the reasons behind it is that the economic condition of India and China have improved and that is why, millions of people in these two countries have come to the middle class position from poor condition. That is why, they can afford to buy more food and better food. So, increase in consumption of food items in these two countries have contributed in increasing the demand of food. So, there is growing price of food commodities especially like rice. Rice is the main food of almost all the people of India and more than half of the population in India.
So, I think that India and China should both try to increase their production and this way they can contribute more to the global food production.

No doubt, the price of daily commodities has been skyrocketed over the last year and it is still continuing. You have pointed out one of the main reason behind this increase in food commodities. Indian and Chinese economy have had excellent growth over the last few years which helped turn the financial condition of many people in these two countries. So, both the countries should focus on their domestic production and if needed, governments should encourage people to change their food habit too in these two countries.
