The ascendency of India as an economic world power

India is the land of outsourcing and in the last few years, India’s export of IT related products and services has increased steadily. Indian companies mainly export to Europe and America. Indian companies did not focus the African market until now because Africa is not a rich place.

India’s Deputy High Commissioner in Nigeria, Mr Anil Trigunayat said this in an interview with our correspondent in Abuja.

“We are considering the possibility of adopting IT in various segments of African economy.

“We are also looking at the need to diversify India’s IT engagement with the region for enhancing exports, increasing capacity building and mutually beneficial ties,” he said.
