
India is a land of tigers and in the world; Indian is one of the countries with a large tiger population. This population is decreasing day by day and latest estimate is that there are only a bit more than 1,400 tigers in the forest in India.
Indian tiger is gradually becoming an endangered species and the main reason is that there is a flourishing and booming illegal tiger trade in the world. China is the largest consumer when it comes to tiger. A tiger can bring more than $12000 in China. So, it is a very attractive for many poor people. The good thing is that many organizations have come forward to fight for saving Indian tigers. This matter has been brought to European parliament and European parliament member has given some attention for Indian tigers.
