I love simple and plain life style and I am not fan of luxury at all. Well, I know that most people are opposite of me. They crave for luxury in their heart and I respect their wanted as I am in the minority. Well, Indian economy is growing fast and there is a flourishing middle class in the country. So, the number of people with enough disposable income is growing.
When people have disposable income they go for luxurious and posh things. It is natural human psychology. That is why, India is becoming an attractive market for global luxury brands.
India does not encourage import of luxurious items and there is high rate of tax imposed on these kind of items. However, there is a growing demand for luxurious goods and this demand is only going to increase in the next few years.
