Monsoon is a seasonal wind that bring a lot of rainfall in South Asia. It is related with the fate of millions of farmers in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. For Indian farmers, monsoon is the most important thing. Well, the good news is that this year, there is possibility of early monsoon.

The monsoon usually advances to the southeast Bay of Bengal and the south Andaman sea by May 15 but this year rains had come early, the India Meteorological Department said in a statement dated May 10.
"Simply because it has hit the Bay of Bengal early, it does not necessarily mean it will hit the mainland early," a senior official at the weather office involved in monsoon forecasting, who did not wish to be named, told Reuters.
This news will make many Indian farmers very happy. Sometimes, I wonder that if monsoon does not come to India for one year then what kind of disaster would take place in the country. Well, the climate of the world is changing because of pollution and global warming. So, I will not get too shocked if the nature of monsoon changes in future.
