iPhone came in the US market nearly 10 months ago. It became very popular in the US and in some other countries. Having an iPhone became a status symbol or prestige concern for many people. Indian consumers still do not have iPhone and the good news is that iPhone is going to come in India within 2008. Vodafone is the operator that will offer its subscribers the option to use iPhone.
This move will surely make Vodafone more attractive in India. There is no confirmed news about the possible price of iPhone in India but I saw a report that stated, “the price would range between Rs 27,200 and Rs 28,000.” The price is too much for most Indians. Well, iPhone is not for ordinary people in Asia.
